Our Process

Praxis Build specializes in custom new homes and renovations with a passion for sustainability and customer satisfaction. We prioritize transparency, professionalism, and flexibility to ensure a stress-free and enjoyable home-building experience. To achieve this, we use a paid pre-construction process with several key steps tailored to your project's needs, this can include the following steps depending on your project type and current stage of your project:

·        Building Scope Expertise: We provide professional advice on buildability, sustainability, durability, material selections, and cost efficiencies before the project starts. (this is where applicable, we have no intention of undermining professional design work)

·        Initial Project Pricing Review: A pre-design assessment to confirm if your project ideas align with your budget expectations.

·        Collaboration with Experts: We collaborate with your architects, engineers, designers, and interiors, ensuring your control over the design while benefiting from our recommendations. We can provide recommendations for design consultants if you require.

·        Detailed Site Investigations: Thorough site assessments identify potential challenges, aiding accurate project pricing and workflow planning.

·        Specialist Subcontractor Liaison: We coordinate with specialist subcontractors, including site visits, for fixed and accurate pricing elements.

·        Costing Revisions: Refinement of the budget, during the planning stage.

·        Detailed Cost Proposal: We present a comprehensive and accurate cost proposal along with a configured scope of works.

·        Final Preconstruction Meeting: A builder-client review of detailed cost proposals.

·        Formal Documentation: The entire pre-construction process is covered with a Pre-Construction Consultation Agreement Specification and an MBA pre-construction services contract.

At the process's conclusion, you retain full ownership of design documents, having engaged the design team separately. There is no obligation to proceed with Praxis Build for the construction works, providing you with flexibility and control over your project.
